Had a lovely meal for Father’s Day. Had the steak fillet and sticky toffee pudding and was honestly so good! My dad had roast beef and my grandad had the lamb shank and lovely big portions which you expect from a roast. AMAZING! Very yummy! Will be back! Also staff very attentive and great service with friendly smiles.

Called very late to see if they had a room for us and our dog due to the weather which they did! The staff were super friendly, stayed later to allow us to check in, great with our dog who loved his first hotel stay! Recommend the hotel to anyone, room was super clear and a very nice size!!

Visited The Mill for their special Burns Night event and wow…..beautiful pub, fantastic service and incredible food. The haggis stack to start and the tablet cheesecake were incredible. Family friendly, a piper greeted us on arrival and a very talented singer played guitar throughout the night. Thank you for a lovely evening. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to stop, friendly staff and beautiful rooms.. beds are so comfy for a perfect night’s sleep! Will definitely come again.

Had a meal at The Mill House Hotel recently and received a warm welcome from the staff who were helpful and attentive throughout. We ate in the main restaurant which has a lovely ambience and could not fault the food, which was very tasty and well presented. Having eaten here several times in the past, I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

A lovely place to go for a drink or something to eat. A tad expensive I thought but the service was very professional and overall experience worth a visit. Will likely return to try and overnight stay.

Myself and my partner enjoyed a lovely meal together today our first time dining here. Not only was the place clean and staff welcoming and friendly the food was lovely. I highly recommend to everyone. Will definitely be back soon!

The hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC as it is a bit rundown and rustic, however the staff were super friendly and welcoming, plus the food in the restaurant was excellent would recommend.

We popped in for a meal as its a place we pass often and made a point of stopping, we were welcomed by friendly staff, took a seat in the lounge and picked our meal from the varied menu and shown through to the restaurant when our meals were ready. The gastro food was tremendous and staff attentive. 10/10.

Had our wedding at the start of August this year and can’t fault the whole day. Staff were very attentive meal was delicious and service fantastic, rooms were spotless clean the venue was set up to perfection. We had a perfect day and can’t thank them enough for all their hard work.

If you’re traveling for work or just a holiday weekend then the mill house hotel has it all. Beautiful rooms for everyone pet friendly options. With an amazing bar and restaurant the food and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I will definitely be back

My Wife and I came to visit her Aunt (we’re from Andover in Hampshire) and I went for an evening meal, wow! The service was the best I’ve encountered, so attentive and the food, unbelievable. I had the Haggis Bon Bon as the starter, it was unbelievable! Then the double stack burger as the main meal, the meat patties were so tasty. Well worth a visit!

My husband and I had our wedding here on the 22-08-2026, from our very first viewing the team were outstanding, we had multiple requests to our package and none of it was ever an issue! They were more than accommodating to all of our needs. On the run up to the day we had constant communication with the events planner to ensure everything was finalised. On the day of the wedding the team running our day were absolutely fantastic, they were dealing with everything behind the scenes whilst my bridal party and I were able to relax and get ready, we had multiple people check in to ensure we had everything and enough drinks to start the celebration! Our meal was absolutely gorgeous, with lots of compliments on the day, and the evening bar staff were superb at keeping our friends and family very well hydrated Special thanks to Steven, Kim, our events planner Emma and also to Karen for all their hardwork and commitment to ensure our whole day ran smoothly with no hiccups allowing us and our guests to celebrate together
